FirstAssist Services is the new name in the provision of business
to business Health and Wellbeing Solutions. As an established player
within the healthcare and assistance markets, having previously been
part of Royal & Sun Alliance, FirstAssist provides a unique range
of responsive, innovative and value for money products for Corporates,
SME's, Banks, Insurers and Affinity organisations. Provision Products and services provided by FirstAssist Services Limited are not regulated by the Financial Services Authority. Company History FirstAssist was originally formed in March 1998, combining the operations of three specialist companies; The Legal Protection Group (LPG), International Assistance Services (IAS) and The CareAssist Group (CAG). These companies had previously been integrated after the merger of Sun Alliance and the Royal in 1996 and had been providing a range of legal expenses products and assistance services since 1977. The Healthcare business of FirstAssist was formed in 1997 under Royal & Sun Alliance and rapidly grew to become one of the market leaders in the provision of health and wellbeing products and services. The business has grown strongly to a total income of around £300m in 2002. FirstAssist has offices in Purley and Hinckley and employs over 500 staff, including experts in medicine, law, counselling. FirstAssist is committed to providing a first class service to its clients and our customers.
